Manual

 

Organization:

The Steering Committee consists of both elected and appointed officers.  Elected officials serve one-year terms, and may not serve more than two consecutive terms.  Appointed officials are selected by current members of the Steering Committee.

Duties:

The Steering Committee shall:

¤ provide general direction to the organization
¤ administer policies and programs
¤ appoint chairs of committees and representatives to other organizations
¤ set A&PW's annual membership dues
¤ conduct annual nominations and elections of officers
¤ set the date for the annual meeting
¤ maintain a procedures manual to direct operations
¤ appoint a committee to perform the annual financial audit

Prerogatives:

The Steering Committee may:

¤ award lifetime memberships to A&PW
¤ create and dissolve ad hoc committees assigned to particular tasks
¤ schedule the dates, times, and places of membership meetings

Meetings 

The Steering Committee typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 12-1 pm.  All members of A&PW are welcome to attend.

 

Scheduled Meetings

Meeting dates and locations for 2008-2009 to be announced.

 

The Steering Committee also convenes quarterly General Meetings.  Members are encouraged to participate.
